Welcome kiddies to another fun filled weekend of punks, drunks and reprobates, that is more commonly known as the GGI Festival.
This year we're in Glasgow for for the first time, it should be for the second time, but it had to be held in Edinburgh in 2005 due to it being millenium bathnight here, never again i'll tell you, it's fucking horrible!
The good people at Stereo have agreed to host the weekend for us. To find out details about it, including a map and gig times, just click on the 'Program' button up top. This is also where you'll find any other activities that are happening, like 'Hunt the Stiff', and 'How Many Melons Can Stiff Fit up His Huge Arse'.

Well folks, another GGI has come and gone and what a belter it was. The whole weekend was rockin' with top bands, top nosh (courtesy of Shahed's on Pollokshaws Rd),loads of booze and our big punk rock family of friends. If anyone wants to upload photos or videos get in touch and Spuck will sort it (don't ask me, I'm not qualified ).

Videos on the other hand are too big (would depend on the size), and it might kill the bandwidth (I had to move the site to a webhost so i could give my server a break!), but if you want to upload them to a file host then send me details and a link then that's fine (if you want to but dont know how, email me). Same goes for pictures if you've already uploaded them to a host or your Myspace or something, just email me the details and a link and i'll fire it on. Cheers for viewing my crap attempt at a website and coming to Glasgow where we pride ourselves in having absolutely no soap! And dont forget to leave a message in the guestbook, or just random bollocks like Billy!
We would like to thank all the people who helped out, sold T-shirts(Cat and Kev), supplied equipment (Iain, Keef and Scott, and Tommy and James at Audio Experiments), Andy for supplying and driving the van, the lovely ladies for doing the door ( Ellen, Cinders and err.. Billy) and Shona for providing a sterling sound.
And finally last but not least, the bouncers for barring Colin Riot, Connor, Boomboom and Spuck. Obviously men who can distinguish between decent upstanding members of society and the dregs of humanity!! (seriously though it was upsetting and disappointing when they wouldn't let the wee lassie Lisa back in cos she was too drunk! Its not like she was gonna cos any trouble! )Sometimes bouncers can be unnecessarily unsympathetic, and jobsworthy!
If anyone wants to write a review of the bands or the weekend feel free cos I missed half the bands but I thought The Plimptons were superb and likewise The Poison Sisters and The Snipes just get better every time I see them.
Next year is in Ireland way down south at Connor and Teresa's bit in New Ross. I canny wait cos I'm gonna get pished all weekend and watch other people stress out! YIPEE!
